Summer is here, and my skincare routine always changes a bit this time of year.

I have naturally dry skin, and I have learned that I do not like a lot of products on my face, especially during the warmer months. I want a routine that is quick, clean, and super effective. If it takes too long or feels complicated, I’m probably not going to stick with it.

We all have different skin types and concerns, so what works for me may not be exactly what your skin needs. This quiz helps identify the best products for your skin, and once you’ve taken it, I’ll personally reach out and help guide you.

My Morning Routine

Most mornings lately start with a walk, a workout or getting a little work done before the day gets going.

1. Counter Mineral Boost Hydrating Essence Toner

This is my first step and helps prep my skin for everything that follows.

2. F06 Cell Active Serum

This serum supports cell renewal and improves skin over time. It’s one of my favorite products because it works well for all skin types and fits into a simple routine.

3. Alpyn Moisturizer

I finish with a lightweight moisturizer that gives my dry skin the hydration it needs without feeling heavy.

Minimal Summer Makeup

One thing I’ve noticed every summer is that I naturally wear less makeup.

Most days it’s simply skin tint and blush, but when I want a little more coverage, here’s my go-to routine:

That’s usually enough to help me feel put together without feeling overly made up.

My Nighttime Lineup

I love my nighttime skincare routine because it helps signal that the day is done.

The moment I start washing my face, it’s like a switch flips and my body knows it’s time to slow down.

1. Double Cleanse

I use F78 followed by 009 to remove sunscreen, makeup, and everything from the day.

2. Serum

Depending on what my skin needs, I’ll use either:

3. Natural Retinol

A few nights each week, I mix either F06 or F59 with F65 in the palm of my hand before applying.

This has become my favorite way to incorporate a retinol alternative into my routine.

4. F74 Regeneration Intense Face Cream

I finish with a moisturizer like F74, which melts right into my skin. Since nighttime is when our skin does so much of its repair work, I like to really nourish it before bed.

I’ve also been testing a gifted product, Elm Biosciences A30 Elemental Night Cream. It’s fragrance-free and non-irritating, which is critical for me, and the rich, creamy texture provides excellent hydration and barrier support for my dry, sensitive, mature skin.

As someone who typically gravitates toward very clean skincare, I’ve been slower to incorporate retinoid products into my routine. I’ve had no irritation, dryness, or sensitivity, and I’ve noticed a healthy glow and smoother-looking skin since using it. While I try to limit my exposure to products containing phenoxyethanol, I think this is a strong product in the aging gracefully space.

It is gentler than traditional retinoids and results may take a little longer, that slower, more gradual approach can be a great fit for those with sensitive skin who want to explore retinoid benefits without the harsh side effects that are often associated with them.

What I’m Taking Internally

I’ve become a big believer that healthy skin starts from the inside out.

Collagen & The Beauty Molecule

I’ve tried quite a few collagen products over the years, and this combo is still my favorite. It’s highly bioavailable and something I’ve noticed a real difference with over time.

Creatine

I’ve found it has become one of my daily wellness staples and something I take consistently.

The Bottom Line

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that consistency matters more than perfection.

My skincare routine isn’t 12 steps, and it doesn’t require spending hours in front of the mirror. It’s simply a few products I genuinely enjoy using every day.

Taking a few minutes to care for my skin feels like a small act of self-care that helps me feel more like myself, especially during busy seasons.

If you’re looking for a place to start, I always recommend taking the skin quiz so I can help guide you toward products that fit your unique skin and goals.

And if you ever have questions, send me a message. One of my favorite parts of sharing skincare is helping women create a routine they actually look forward to using every day.
